About Jay Canode

Jay Canode I love the space and light of the southwest United States. Born and raised between Colorado and Arizona I have no desire to ever call anywhere but the southwest home. I began as a photojournalist for broadcast television at age 16, received a BFA in photography, and have shot video and film on assignment from the bottom of the Grand Canyon to the the Arctic Circle. My passion is telling stories with both still and moving pictures. I currently reside in Paonia, Colorado with my partner in life Amy and my son Edan. I am available for print and video editorial assignments and my photos are available for licensing.
